HUMMER and the American Red Cross
| Thanks
to a new 6-year partnership between HUMMER and the American Red Cross,
communities across the country will be better prepared to respond to
life's emergencies. Through 2010, 72 HUMMER vehicles and $600,000 in
cash will be generously donated by the GM Foundation to help reinforce
the Red Cross' disaster response infrastructure and assist chapters in
delivering local programs and services. | The
vehicles will also support on going chapter activities, including
transporting volunteers, employees, and supplies. In addition, HUMMER
dealers throughout the country will partner with their local Red Cross
chapters to raise money, donate blood and enlist volunteers. |  | General
Motors and HUMMER are proud of their long-standing partnership with the
Red Cross to lend assistance to communities in need. And now more than
ever, we're taking action to help the Red Cross achieve its important
mission. |

We have come to the end of an era!

14 years and nearly 12,000 sales, the HUMMER H1 Alpha ceased production
as of June 2006. AM General, the creator and manufacturer of the H1,
will focus its effort upon production of the HUMVEE for the U.S. Armed
Forces. The facility where the H1 is manufactured will be converted to
production of the military-grade HUMVEE models. No employees will lose
their jobs. | The
H1 was born in 1992, known then simply as "The HUMMER." With its
capabilities and durability, the H1 established the heritage and
superior off-road reputation that the world associates with the HUMMER
